Dog Wooden Brooch

The "Doggy" brooch is from the "Airmail" collection. I have a soft spot for little white fluffy dogs and just had to include one in the Airmail print! Printed onto walnut wood and then laser cut to look like a stamp, it will add a touch of whimsy to any outfit.

One of the most exciting things about receiving letters is to see what kind of stamps were used. Having family and friends from Japan and Finland, I have received all kinds of beautifully designed stamps. The "Airmail" print is an ode to my love of stamps and snail mail. I designed all the stamps to include things that I cherish from both of my home countries. I also incorporated special dates into the date stamps to make the print even more personal.

+ Size : 4.2 x 5 x 0.4 cm (1 7/8 x 2 x 1/8 inch).
+ Printed on walnut wood , then laser cut.
+ Back of the brooch has a silver plated locking bar pin back and a stamped logo.
+ Each brooch comes attached with a backing card.
+ Brooch has been varnished to prevent scratches but please still take care to avoid anything rough from rubbing against the surface.
+ The amount of wood grain that is visible through the paint differs for each brooch. This may mean that the brooch you receive may not look exactly like the one in the photo.
+ Colours calibrate differently from monitor to monitor so please allow for some shift in colour.
